From our quick stop over in Bowling Green, we were on the road, first to Roanoke to attend Pete and Angie’s wedding in Big Island, VA…an excellent time! And then headed south for a quick visit with the Meltzers again in Asheville, NC on Flat Top Mountain, a nice 80 degrees at 4250 feet above sea level. Soon, back to Roanoke to put the big pink house on the market and back to Asheville to finish off the summer getting ready for Fall Classes at WKU.
For now Gus has been enjoying his swims in the lake here, working on his breaststroke, which he’s already quite good at from lots of practice, and sitting in his new bathtub, lounging about while two people massage and wash him…pretty much the life.
