We’ve been spending a few weeks with the Warps in Moose Lake this summer, enjoying the cooler weather, family (with lots of kids) and the lake 25 yards from the Warp back door. Gus took his first dip in the lake, wearing his new swimsuit courtesy of his Meltzer grandparents, and has been cuddled by Great-Grandma Louise for a few hours at a time, with just the right touch. Louise, and Great-grandpa Bruno spent some time with us all at the Warps after their home was destroyed by a tornado two weeks ago in Wadena, MN. They’ll be moving to a senior citizens apartment in the coming days.
So, here are just a few moments from the past few weeks in Minnesota. His five cousins have taken an immediate liking to him, and all in their own ways which has been fun to watch. They call him baby Gus, which I suppose he is for the time being.

The Warp family cottage looks idylic…what a wonderful first summer for ‘baby’ gus with his big cousins. How nice Missy and Josh that your work allows you this luxury of time.
