We’ve been spend­ing a few weeks with the Warps in Moose Lake this sum­mer, enjoy­ing the cooler weather, fam­ily (with lots of kids) and the lake 25 yards from the Warp back door.  Gus took his first dip in the lake, wear­ing his new swim­suit cour­tesy of his Meltzer grand­par­ents, and has been cud­dled by Great-Grandma Louise for a few hours at a time, with just the right touch.  Louise, and Great-grandpa Bruno spent some time with us all at the Warps after their home was destroyed by a tor­nado two weeks ago in Wadena, MN.  They’ll be mov­ing to a senior cit­i­zens apart­ment in the com­ing days.

So, here are just a few moments from the past few weeks in Min­nesota.  His five cousins have taken an imme­di­ate lik­ing to him, and all in their own ways which has been fun to watch.  They call him baby Gus, which I sup­pose he is for the time being.
